This is odd

So I am 20 and have been on birth control since I was 14 (for my skin initially, now it's for that and actual birth control).

I have never experience irregular bleeding or spotting. That is until yesterday. I was having cramps two days ago for no reason (My period will be next week), and then yesterday I had a little bit of spotting. I never start cramping until the day before my period, that's how I've always been, so cramping that early was weird too.

I don't know why this has happened all the sudden. I take my pills religiously at the exact time every day.

It can't be because of a change in the kind of BC, because I've been on the same kind for several months.

Anyone know what could be going on?

Never mind. I realized tonight that I forgot to take a pill. I have no idea how it happened because I haven't forgotten a pill since I was probably 17. All I know is that it happened Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night. It kind of blew my mind. Oh well.
