unusual experience?

i did quite a bit of reading before trying anal sex for the first time, and i have to say very little of what i read has held true for me.

first of all, we did very little by the way of prep, since i'm an impatient person and honestly it didn't feel that neccesary. a little finger wiggling, and then lots of lube and in went his penis. no pain at all.

he wanted me to be on top for our first go (much as ann's article suggests) but i felt like it'd be a bit much to be thinking about all at once. so he went from behind, while i stimulated my clit, and it was pretty fun. the second time, later that night, i was on top and it felt fantastic. occasionally it felt like i was pooing, but i just had him pause for a minute and work my clit and the sensation subsided.

apparently you're not supposed to feel any different the next day, but i felt sore- maybe as a result of no prep. but more, i spent the whole day farting and with loose stool, which are things that i haven't seen in any literature, but i feel like i can't possibly be alone there.

finally, when we went to try it again a few days later, we again used lots of lube and i hated it, both from behind and while on top, which had previously felt so great. it felt like i was pooing the entire time, and still didn't hurt per se, but just felt very gross and yucky. and i was still very farty the next day.

so, since these issues aren't ones i've run into in the lit, i'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences, and for possible advice on addressing them.

i have had experience with all the problems you describe and i took time to ensure i was fully preped.

I took a shower and washed out any areas i thought would be bad and also used the toilet to ensure no mess.

I decided that the easiest position for me would be my lying on my back and him entering my from on top.

Now we used soooo much lube it was scary but i still found a little discomfort, the feeling of "pooping" was there more or less most of the time, but non the less i continued as it wasnt unbareable.
My boyfriend was very slow and patient with me taking care to listen to any instructions i gave, but it didnt change the fact it was uncomfortable.

Afterwards i too had loose stool which lasted for a day or so, i assume it was down to the lube we used inside me.

The next time we tried anal i went straight into the bath room after and used the toilet. I then jumped in the shower to remove any lube or nasty stuff and this seems to have helped a fair bit.

I guess its just one of those things in all honesty i cant offer much in the way of advice other than to say your experience is similar to mine.

I had the same experiences. In fact, I was so disgusted the next day that I don't want to ever try again. I truly enjoyed it while we were doing it, but I'm not sure it is worth the trouble.
