First time cock ring?

I had previously brought up the idea of using a cock ring to my fiance and he was really opposed to it. He was convinced that they would hurt him and said NO WAY. So I dropped it, figuring he would never go for it.

Well, the other day, out of the clear blue, he said he would be willing to try one. So we went down to a local sex shop, but there were SO many different kinds of rings that FI didn't know which one he would be more comfortable with and so we didn't get any.

I apologize for my delayed response SAndrea. There is a good first time cock ring. The Leather Cinch is great. It has a quick snap release so your fiance can get out of it quickly and easily, but has a friction buckle that will allow him to make it as tight as he'd like.

Always make sure that whatever cock ring you purchase, your fiance can get out of it quickly and easily.

Here's a few more tips to keep in mind...

* Apply the cock ring to the base of the penis once a full erection is obtained.

* The ring should be placed snugly around the base of the penis. Make sure there is some tightness, but don't strangle your penis.

* Don't wear a cock ring for more than 30 minutes at a time.

* Allow at least 60 minutes between uses.

* Keep in mind that improper use can cause permanent injury or bruising at the base of the penis.

* Techno Skin or Rubber Rings that slide on need lubricant for ease of applying and removing.

Yes, it was those rings that strech a lot, but they weren't that small. Anyhow, I don't really need those, I just wanted to try because I heard it makes the erection harder and bigger, but it didn't have this effect on me at all. As for being able to last a long time, its not one of my weakness at all :P

If you have to improvise, why not use an appropriate household rubber band around the cock and balls?

I prefer the elastic or rubber type that go around the base of the penis as well as behind the balls. I don't have a problems with the leather ones or any of the strap kind but my wife complains that when I'm fucking her the strap rubs on her clit and makes it raw , not a good thing. I think it's just one of those things he'll need to try several of before deciding one one you both like the best. I don't recommend going to any of the high priced ones with all the bells and whistles if you know what I mean. More money to do the same thing as a less expensive one. At least until you find one type you prefer.
