After anal sex is performed on me, I experience diarrhea. It does not occur immediately after, but instead some hours later and continues into the next day. I want to know what causes this and how to prevent it, cause other than that, I quite enjoy anal and wish to continue getting it. I am female and 18 years old, this is my only partner and we've been together about a year. Help us. Thanks. |

Now, I'd just like to preface this by saying that I'm not a doctor. If you want a solid diagnosis, the best thing to do is see your doctor and explain exactly what happens. I don't think it has anything to do with the lubricant, although you should make sure you're using lots of lube and a water-based lubricant. I think it's a coincidence. I don't think the diarrhea has anything to do with the actual act of anal sex simply because diarrhea is mostly caused by digestive issues and anal sex has nothing to do with that. You may want to look at what it is you're eating or drinking before you engage in anal sex. Is there a similar element within each happening? If you know that anal sex is a possibility, you may also want to make sure you have a bowel movement beforehand and empty your rectum. Then a warm bath or quick soapy shower will clean you up just fine. Maybe you're holding in a movement for anal sex and it's upsetting your system. That's a big rule for anal sex. Make sure you have a bowel movement and clean up beforehand. Stress can also cause diarrhea, is there something that you're concerned about? Feel bad about when you have anal sex? You could be getting very upset and stressed emotionally and then, a few hours later, you're seeing the result of that. Like I said above, if you want real medical answers, you have to see a real medical doctor, which I'm not, and explain what happens. Only then can he/she decide if further inspection needs to be done. Here's an article on diarrhea that may shed some light for you... http://my.webmd.com/content/article/90/100639.htm If you do decide to see a doctor, which in all honesty I don't think is a bad idea, let us know what the outcome is. I have been experiencing the same problem, but for me I get stomach cramps and diarrhea right after having buttsex. I have tried diffrent lubes and it doesn't have to do with anything I eat becuase I only get it after anal. Does anyone know anything about this? |

Exact same problem here. IMHO, it is probably that I'm not making sure my bowel is empty beforehand. I'll usually remember having one that day, but I don't stop when the opportunity of anal arises to say, "Excuse me baby, I have to go empty out first!" Although, he'd probably wait LOL. I won't, however, have anal if I know a trip to the bathroom is needed. I just wait til next time and try and plan ahead, but it's not usually the case. Usually I go ahead when I feel empty if that makes sense. Probably not the best thing to do considering, like others, I end up on the pot later I sometimes get the added gift of cramps too but I think that is just gas! And we use TONS of Astroglide. I am wondering if maybe a man's size has something to do with this. The longer he is the more chance to stir some things up? Gross, I know, but we are talking about a hole that is generally exit only! Happy Back Dooring! Curious Kitty |

I've done some more research on this and here's something esle that may shed some light... The Basic of Buttplay by Beth Brown, MD "Some types of illness may be associated with problems with anal sex. People with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis may have areas in or just above the rectum that may be susceptible to damage during fucking. Such persons should check with a doctor before engaging in any type of anal play that is new to them, or if new symptoms happen during or after anal sex. Irritable bowel syndrome is a nerve disorder in which constipation and/or diarrhea can occur or worsen in response to stress, and sometimes due to anal or vaginal sex. This isn't dangerous -- just annoying and painful -- and can sometimes be prevented by using a medication like Imodium AD before anal sex. Avoiding post-sex worry can help prevent attacks of irritable bowel syndrome. " Ann

Another reason, along with others of course, is that the excitement of anticipating and having anal sex is causing the diarrhea. One of my partners always reacts this way--but is so excited to have it with me that the diarrhea to come is not a discouragement to either one of us.
