Ann & Cherry, You both provided very patient and thorough answers in response to my "stupid"  question. I'm glad I asked it! And thank you, both. CJ P.S. I not only know what spamming is now; I can even see why you have no patience for it, Ann. I think I would feel the same way if it were my site. It seems like the characteristic sort of thing you'd expect a "slimy salesperson" type to do.
