Question Shaving her pubic area

Hi all,

I'm a guy, and have been trying to convince my GF to shave her pubic area, so that she's totally bald, so to speak. The thought of this really turns me on.

She finds that when she shaves at all down there, using a razor and a trimmer, that after a day or so, she gets really sore.

Is it possible for her to shave without getting the soreness?

She's very shy, so she definitely wouldn't go for getting a professional to wax her or anything, so only "home solutions" would be ok.

If it is possible to shave (or something else) without the soreness, what's the best way to go about it?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

This is always a sore subject no pun intended, the pubic area s very sensitive the only solutions I've heard of that work are A: a sharp razor every time and B: use some sort of lotion afterwards. It's something some people never get used to it so maybe she's one of them. Waxing is the ultimate smoothness but never mind being shy it has to hurt like a mother fucker especially down there.................

She could also try going with Veet hair remover, or even Magic hair remover. Veet is geared towards women and their legs/bikini area. She should test it on her skin, in a small patch first, and THEN give it a try. Also, if she goes that route, she should be EXTREMELy careful by her labia, as it CAN cause some irritation if you're not careful. I personally have never had any sensativity issues from it, but that's just how MY body functions and hers might not be the same. Magic is somewhat similar to Veet, but it's geared towards the facial hair of black men. I know several women who use it for their pubic area, tho, with good luck. I have heard of one of them who used it, tho, and had a bad reaction, so again, a patch test is needed. Magic can be found in the men's shaving section of most Walmart-type stores.

I'm kind of shy but ended up going the waxing route. Most places have separate little rooms for privacy and any place that has been in business for a while will have a very professional staff. It hardly hurt at all. Plus I didn't get any of those annoying shave bumps when the hair started growing back-- and a whole lot less irritation in general when it started growing back too. I would suggest using a trimmer at home to cut the general length down to about a quarter inch cause the longer it is the more it does hurt if she decides to try that. Some salons may include that in the procedure though.

As for shaving-- with some people the more you shave the better your reaction gets. So if shes willing maybe just try to keep it up for a period of time to see how it is and be sure to use a very sharp/new razor each time and good moisturizer.

Hi i have the same problem with shaving and using removal cream. I now get waxed and i get no itchy rash after. I just had a brazilian which just leaves a small strip of hair, but i know you can get a full brazilian that removes it all even around the anal area and between the legs if you want to go that far.
I love waxing and would not go back to the razor or cream down there, i have however discovered how big my lips are from having a brazilian as i only ever got my bikini line done before

i agree with an earlier post that you just have to wait it out a bit. in the winter i let my pubic hair grow out. i trim it tho. but during the summer i shave completely. this just happened to me recently actually. i started shaving and like the second or third day the hair begins to come back in and it it sensitive and hurts to touch, like a burn kinda. so a gave in till about day 4 and i shaved again. now ive shaved about 6 times each time getting closer to the last time i shaved and now im shaving once a day with no irratation. its just your skin has to get used to it.
