Why is it when ever I cum my penis loses its erection and I have to wait 10 maybe 15minutes to start again while other guys can keep going and going?

Your kidding right? seriously every guys typically goes flaccid after he cums it's natural. I also have to ask what are you basing your information on, what your friends tell you or something a little more tangible?
Some do and I have on occasion maintained an erection but it usually isn't as hard as when I started. I'm 50 so I don't get bothered by it but even way back in the stone age when I first starting having sex. It would happen pretty much the same. A quick recovery was always there as well. Even now when my wife is feeling amorous she takes care of business and my erection returns in less the 10 min. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Every guy I've come across needs a little cat nap after he cums. Don't worry it's perfectly normal.

Welcome to ASA BlackIce, I hope we can give you some comfort here.

What you're experiencing is a refractory period and all men go through it. The amount of time it lasts varies. I did some searching online to find more information so that you will understand what the refractory period is. I found this informative article on the Male Sexual Response from Masters and Johnson. Feel free to read the entire article here.

Quote:
Phase 4 of the Male Sexual Response – Resolution

Resolution phase refers to the period of time immediately following an orgasm, when the body begins to return to its “normal” state. This phase includes:

* The loss of the erection as the blood flows out of the penis, which happens in two stages over the period of a few minutes.
* The scrotum and testes return to normal size.
* A general feeling of relaxation.
* There is also a refractory period following ejaculation when a man is physically incapable of getting another erection. This period may be from a few minutes to much longer. It seems to be longer in older men, although there are many possible individual differences.
So as you can see, if blood flow is lost to the penis then it's impossible to have an erection because that's what an erection is, blood flowing into the penis.

This answer from Ask Alice about refractory periods should also give you some ideas on how to handle it best. Stressing over it is the worst thing you can do.

I've also written an article on how to deal with premature ejaculation, it should give you even more ideas of how to handle play after you climax. I encourage you to take a peek.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I must not though there have been a few occasions when I've been excessively turned on that my refract lasted like a minute or less ( about the time it takes to change a condom ) and I've gotten back to it. I suppose your biggest sexual organ ( your brain ) may have something to do with it.

I've only ever had a refractory period of less than a minute ONCE, and if I clenched my pelvic muscles at all, it hurt A LOT. So a good 10 to 15 minute down time is good. Lets any spilled body fluids get cleaned up and you can go "Down south" for a few minutes.
