My First TIme.....

I've read alot on here about how much it hurts the first time and how I would bleed, But it didnt hurt and I didnt bleed. Is that normal? And it's not like he wasn't big, I mean he's plenty big, and I've never put anything in there besides tampons. So I was just wondering if I was crazy or what. Thanks!

I didn't bleed my first time, and I didn't feel a lot of pain, either. What little pain I did have went away after a couple of minutes. I thought my first time was going to be painful, too. But while that may be the norm, it doesn't have to be. I was lucky enough to be with a man who went through a lot of trouble to make sure I was confortable, lubricated, and stretched out before penetration. If you were relaxed, lubed up, and really turned on beforehand, then it's no wonder you didn't hurt or bleed.

For some people, it does hurt and stays sore for a couple of hours. There might be light bleeding, as well, from the hymen breaking. I'm one of the few who did a lot of gymnastics as a child, so it sort of naturally broke, and it wasn't painful for me. This is normal and it's nothing to worry about. Also, if your guy was plenty gentle and went slowly, that probably eased the process, as well.

It's different for everyone. For me, I bled a lot (about a small puddle) and was sore for a few days. It took me maybe three or four more times of intercourse for it stop hurting completely, but that all depends on the person. Most other girls I have talked to say it doesn't hurt at all. The weird thing is I've used tampons since I was 16, I just thought maybe it would help stretch me out a bit when it was my first time but it didn't, oh well.
