Question want to try but strange pain

I have thought about trying anal for some time but i never had a partner who shared the same interest. I am with some now, who i know would like to try it just as much as I do. Heres the thing when he just lightly plays back there it hurts. Heres the other thing, I have this bump inside my rectum that i believe is a hemorrhoid thats causing the pain but I cant get it to go away. Will someone help me so i can finally enjoy the experience so many have talked about on here. Thank you.

Juewliey,

There's a couple of things going on here. First and foremost, anal sex and anal stimulation is NOT supposed to hurt. If it does hurt, that's a sign to go no further and I'm glad you haven't.

A question, is your partner using some type of lubricant when he plays back there. The anus does not produce any lube like the vagina and penis, so any kind of play, even a light touch requires lube. You didn't say if he was penetrating you at all, but if he is with his fingers it's important that he have smooth, short nails. The anus is very sensitive and the anal membranes doubly so. Rough nails can tear your anal membrane and that can cause pain and discomfort, plus if you're not using lube the friction can cause problems too.

The bump in your rectum could very well be a hemorrhoid. If so, it's not a good idea to play when it's inflamed, otherwise as long as you take the precautions you should still be able to enjoy anal play. Since you don't sound certain that it's a hemorrhoid, you should visit a doctor and have it checked out. If it's something that bothers you on a daily basis, you may need something strong than OTC creams.

I've had very small hemorrhoid issues in the past and it still caused me to back away from anal play for a while, but recently I've been getting back into it and as long as I use lots of lube, we take our time and Larry's gentle, I have been finding it rather arousing again.

I want to send you to a few links about safe anal play.

This one I wrote on how to have anal sex:
http://www.allsexguide.com/anal-sex-how-to.htm

You should also find Tristan Taormino's site a helpful resource:

Although, I would get the possible hemorrhoid checked out first before I got too involved in heavy anal play.

Ann
