Luxury vibe recommendations

Hi,

I've read the extremely helpful reviews about several of the luxury vibes out there. I am looking for some comparison/contrast on some vibes in order to make a decision about a purchase.

I, like Ann, need a very strong vibe for my clit to get the job done (the only thing I hate about the Hitachi is that I can't use it in my very open house when my 3 kids are in it). Up to this point bullets have been my best bet and I usually am looking at how much juice they take (give me a 3 AA anyday). My last 2 have burned out fairly quickly and I'm looking to replace them with something higher quality. I wish I had found a Layaspot review back when I purchased mine - it is nice as a warm-up toy, but I can't get beyond that with it at all.

I have been looking at either the Onye or the new Lelo Mia (USB rechargeable). I was able to feel the vibe on one recently (not on my clit, however) and it was decent, but it also was not fully charged. I am wondering a couple of things. 1. How does the strength of the Mia compare with the Nea? 2. How do both of these compare with the Onye? The pro of the Lelo toys for me is that they are rechargeable, but that does me no good if it can't get the job done. Is there another option out there that is STRONG, quiet and cordless?

Any help, advice or suggestions anyone can give regarding this would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to be able to afford one of each, but my toy budget isn't what I'd like it to be at the moment.

Rapunzel,

Before I give you an answer I'd like to know, do you use the Hitachi Magic Wand on high or low? What is your preferred setting?

Ann,

I prefer it on low because the vibrations actually seem more intense to me - they are... deeper, if that makes any sense at all? I have also never had success with anything other than a bullet shaped vibe in something smaller, because other types don't ever seem to be quite intense enough for me when they are spread over a large surface area.

I look forward to your thoughts - my two bullets died and my kids are around too much to pull the hitachi out (sound issues in our house) easily. I can't wait to get a replacement. I'm dying here.

I should also mention that the pocket rocket i have, while strong, doesn't work for me with the flat head. I seem to need something more tapered to hit my clit in a very specific way, which is why I was looking at the Nea or the Onye. The Hitachi works because I usually use it in combo with a dildo. I wish there were a bullet shaped attachment for that baby!

Just a quick fix thought, have you tried covering the Hitachi with maybe a pillow or try covering the noise with some background noise like a TV or a radio? My ex g/f loved her Hitachi so much she went through 3 of them. When she lived in her apartment her neighbor mentioned to her once that she could hear this noise coming from her apartment my ex told her it was a food processor and her neighbor believed her. I laughed and said well she must think you really love your smoothie's because of all the moans and gowns that went along with the Hitachi.

Rapunzel,

I apologize for my delay in responding. While the Nea has brought me to orgasm on occasion, I feel it's more of a warm up vibe and am hesitant to recommend it to you from your response.

The Onye was a good vibe as well, but I've been testing so many these days, and with the fact that the company never sent me a replacement, I can't remember how strong it was specifically. I will say this though, I remember the Onye brought me to orgasm more than the Nea. If that's any help to you.

It sounds like you're mostly using this vibe for masturbation. I'm going to recommend a very new vibe, something really different, but I've had such a good experience with it, that I want to run it by you. It's called the Sasi. Unfortunately, my official review hasn't been posted on AllSexReveiws.com yet, so I'll try to get you as much the info here as I can. This is a very different vibe for me because it's got a lot going on. It offers some powerful vibrations, for a massager type looking vibe, but it also simulates oral sex. There's a little ball on the underside covered by a thin, silicone cover that moves back and forth, up and down and round and round. Once the underside of the vibe and your vulva is all lubed up, things get really slippery and I found it quite delightful. The vibrations are pretty strong and you've got a large surface area to work with. Plus as you learn how the little ball on the bottom moves, you can place the vibe exactly where it gives you the most pleasure.

There was a learning curve to figuring the Sasi out though. There's 2 modes, favorites and customize. The favorites mode, will allow you to experience all the vibe has to offer. Then when you're familiar with it, you can start to teach the vibe what movements and settings you like to the next time you use it, you don't have to find those settings they'll be there already. You do need to spend some time with this vibe though. Some movements you'll need to put more pressure on the vibe as you hold it against you, while others you may want to reposition the vibe a bit. In reading different thoughts around the net, it seems like women get a bit impatient with it, but the more you use it, the better you'll learn how it works for you. It took me a couple of times, but once I got it, the moving ball brought me to orgasm with no vibrations at all. That's a big statement for me.

Something like this might work well for you because it gives you options as far as stimulation. Plus it's really quiet for all the work it's doing. It's rechargeable so there's no cords to muss and fuss with. It does have a bit of price tag at $185, but it's definitely unique in what it does. Now that I'm comfortable using it, I use it often for masturbation because it doesn't just bring me to this quick orgasm, I can really work myself over a slower pace, which for me is a good thing. You can get the Sasi exclusively at Babeland.com. They've got a couple of resources over there, article and video about how to use the Sasi. So you can get a bit of preview of it before deciding.

I still want to try the Mia. Unfortunately though that won't be something I can report on within the next couple of days. I know you're dying over there, but I will post my thoughts after trying it.

Check out the Sasi over at Babeland and let me know your thoughts. If I can answer any more questions, I will absolutely try.

Ann,

Thanks so much for the input! The SaSi sounds wonderful and I just sent a link to my husband for a gift hint, lol. I actually tend to use my vibes equally for masturbation as well as during sex. I like to have direct clit stim during intercourse to bring me to orgasm - otherwise it could take forever and a day and still may never happen just vaginally alone.

Is the SaSi too big/awkward to use during intercourse too? That is pretty much the reason that I've always gone with bullet type vibes - they tend to have strength, but a very very short shelf-life. I'm tired of burning through $40 vibes every 6 months. If it is too big for use during intercourse, I still need to find one for that purpose, but after your review the SaSi is going to be on my table for masturbation.

I've looked at the Le Petit vibe for a long time, but have no idea how the strength is on those, either. I hate it that there aren't places that have demos that you can just hold them and feel the strength. Obviously, actual testers probably wouldn't be a great idea, lol.

Thanks again!
