Hey, I'm have some unexpected but light bleeding. The thing is I'm on Depo, and have been for a while. This is actually my second stint with the shot (I tried two other forms of b/c before going back) and though I bleed for about 9 months when I first started I hardly bleed at all my second time, I pretty much just stopped having periods right away. It's been a couple days since I've had sex so I think it's safe to say this isn't from tearing anything or anything like that. I have been under extreme amounts of stress lately though, quit my job with my mom which caused her to unleash on me , my boyfriend lost his job just recently because of a work place injury-- and to top it all off I have reason to believe my mom and her sisters took more than $80,000 of an inheritance that was supposed to go to me...ANYWAY, back to the point. I'm more worried that it could be a sign that I've gotten pregnant-- could light bleeding be a sign of that (it's not enough for anything more than a little panty liner really). I get tested every three months before my shot and my next one isn't until the end of next month. Should I just go in for a pregnancy test just in case or am I being paranoid? Wouldn't that just top off all my current stress-- and unplanned pregnancy just weeks before I'm going to move four hours away from my current home...

Geriko, I apologize for coming in late here. My best advice would be to go to the pharmacy or grocery store and pick up a First Response Pregnancy test. Get the one with 2 tests in it. Follow the directions and take one test one day and do it again the next day. It's the only way to really know. I would also tell your gynecologist about all this. Stress can wreak havoc on a woman's menstrual cycle, but this shot may just not be agreeing with you. But that's something your doctor can help you with. Don't wait to take a pregnancy test, do it now. Ann
