Back in July, I bled lightly for about a week up until my period, I had my period, after it was over the bleeding stopped. It was normal. Now, this month, it's all messed up, too. I had my period a week ago, It stopped for about a week, and now I'm bleeding again. I'm in week 2 of my BC pills. I don't know what's going on. I plan on going to the doctor, but I wanted to know if this has ever happened to anyone else. Thank you. Sara |

I had something similar sounding happen to me in college once. I'd never had any issues with bleeding between my periods outside of that time. It turned out that it was stress and my doctor didnt think that the pill I was on was necessarily working for me anymore. I got a new prescription, the school stuff I was stressing over finished up and then all was well. I havent really had any problems otherwise. It could just be something as simple as the type of pill your on just isnt really for you and you need a different prescription. Definitely see your doctor and let him/her know that this in between time bleeding thing isnt working for you and they should be willing to work with you to find something else that will work for you. If they wont, then it might be a good time to find a different doctor.

Have you been taking your pill regularly? Or switched types recently? My girlfriend went from the pill to the ring back to the pill again. After she went back to the pill her periods were really out of the ordinary, she had one that lasted for almost two weeks. |
